Thanksgiving for Difficult Training

My Lord, My Beloved,

My heart sings full of praise and thanksgiving

For the love and grace that You have given to me

My Lord, My Beloved,

I thank you for the new perspectives that You have given to me

I thank you for Christ's characters that You implanted in me

I thank you for the guidance and wisdom that You have teach me

Through Your words and Your Holy Spirit

You have turned my difficulties into blessings

You have taught me how to appreciate the little things in life

You have shown me great beauty through what is considered ordinary and mundane

There were times when I complaint even when I have plenty and abundant

That was the time when I was young and immature in spirit

Gradually and gently, You have taught me how to appreciate life, and

embrace it in its different ups and down situations

Now, that I have grown up in Your knowledge and understanding

I begin to learn how to be thankful at different time and moments in my life

I begin to see Your great loving care through different people

that I have come to know at different periods in my life

You have shown me great love and mercy by answering my prayers

not according to my will but according to Your will

For You know what is best for me:

That is not to indulge me in pleasure, but

to train my unpolished characters to become more and more like You

Thank you Lord for the difficult trainings that You have given me

I have the honour to be part of Your great plan

In the progression of advancing the beauty of Heaven on Earth

my heart to the Lord in tears at the Graduate House

when I encountered conflict and the Lord kindly inspired me

to be thankful instead of complaining)

1 Thessalonians 5:14-18

"We urge you, brethren, admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone. See that no one replays another with evil for evil, but always seek after that which is good for one another and for all people. Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
