Once we become believers of Christ, it is important to attend a local Church and have fellowship with other Christians so that we can strengthen each other's faith. A church, however, does not mean a beautiful building but it is a gathering of followers of Jesus Christ. Therefore, it is important to find a local or a home church that can help your faith to grow. In this section, we introduce churches that we have attended before or visited during our travels that we believe have solid biblical teaching. Our home church in Hong Kong is St. Andrew's.
"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:24-25)
"For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." (Matthew 18:20)
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God." (Colossians 3:16)
"It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." (Ephesians 4:11-13)
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer." (Acts 2:42)
"Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ." (Romans 10:17)
"And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it." (Matthew 16:18)
"Then the church throughout Jude, Galilee, and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace. It was strengthened; and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it grew in numbers, living in the fear of the Lord." (Acts 9:31)
"But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
"Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says" (James 1:22)
"Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and encourage - with great patience and careful instruction." (2 Timothy 4:2)
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20)
